Two miles of clean sandy beach, safe swimming and a variety of restaurants make this hamlet a popular summer destination. Summer accommodations include a variety of options for all budgets; from upscale waterfront cottages with boat dockage on the channel, to mobile homes in the local marina. Watersports rentals available right on the beach, with jet skis, stand-up paddleboards and water trampolines. MacDonald's Marina offers a boat ramp and transient dockage.
The Turkey Point Provincial Park is the only provincial park with a Golf course and is a nature lovers paradise with a variety of moderate classified hiking trails through a diverse ecosystem.
Trails include 'Lookout Bluff Trail' a 2.2 km easy hike, 'Fin & Feather Trail' , 4.0 km leading to a fish culture station and 'Oak Savanna Trail', 1km through an area of naturally forested areas.
